Custom Enterprise Software

Architecting robust, scalable enterprise systems with the Microsoft C#/.NET and Blazor ecosystem. From complex business logic to high-throughput APIs, built to perform and endure.

Custom Enterprise Software — how the pieces fit together

The systems your business actually runs on.

Enterprise software is what your operations, finance and delivery teams touch every day. It carries years of process knowledge, connects to everything else you run, and it cannot be down. We build those systems on the Microsoft stack — C#, .NET and Blazor — with the architecture written down and the tests in place.

Most engagements start with something that already exists: a platform that has outgrown its design, or a chain of spreadsheets and manual steps holding a process together. We map what is there, agree what the new system has to do, and deliver it in stages you can put into production as they land.

What a typical build covers:

  • Domain and data modelling — the entities, rules and workflows your team actually uses, not a generic template.
  • Service and API boundaries drawn so a module can be replaced later without a rewrite.
  • Role-based security, audit trails and reporting designed in from the start, not bolted on for a compliance deadline.
  • Automated tests and deployment pipelines, so every release is repeatable and every change is traceable.
  • Documentation and handover, so your people can run and extend the system without us.

Built to run for years.

Enterprise systems get judged on the day they break, not the day they launch. Four things we hold to on every build.

Modelled on your business

We start from your processes and data, not a framework's defaults. The model in the code uses the same words your team uses in the meeting room.

Sized for the peak

High-throughput APIs, indexed queries and cached read paths — sized for the busiest day of your year, not the average one.

Secure and auditable

Role-based access, encryption in transit and at rest, and a complete audit trail on the records that matter to you.

Modular by design

Clear boundaries between services mean one part can be replaced or extended on its own, without holding the rest hostage.

Working through the delivery plan with the client's team

From process map to production

We work in slices. A short discovery maps the domain and the integrations, then one thin slice of the system is built end to end — data, services, interface, deployment. Once that slice is live, the rest is delivered against a plan you can see, with a demo every fortnight.

  • Architecture and integration map agreed before code is committed
  • A working slice in production early, not a demo at the end
  • Fortnightly releases, each one with a walkthrough of what shipped

Reporting people will actually use

Most enterprise systems fail their users at the reporting layer. We build the reads as carefully as the writes: dashboards that answer the questions the business asks, exports that reconcile with finance, and screens that stay fast as the data grows.

  • Operational dashboards driven by live data
  • Exports that match the numbers in your finance system
  • Query paths tuned and cached so screens stay under a second

Technologies

The technology stack we use on this work includes, but is not limited to:

C#
.NET
Blazor
SQL Server
Entity Framework
Azure
AWS
Docker
Redis
GitHub Actions

Completed projects

The same work, delivered. Every number came out of production.

Got a problem to solve?

Whether you're starting from scratch, scaling up, or dealing with a system under stress — let's talk about what we can build together. We can start by ensuring your systems continue to operate while a strategy is developed to make the most of your investment.
